DeLACA formed in 2012 while members Amir Oosman (drums/production), Austin Antoine (vocals), Justin Jackson (keys/vocals), and Devon Taylor (bass) met at California Institute of the Arts. Chicago native, Justin Jackson, initially jump-started the group with his unique hometown style of Hip-Hop/R&B. They have fused the backgrounds of each member, ranging from Chicago, LA, Oakland, and Maryland.
